ICE Medical Standard App Reviews

Having just spent the last three and a half years caring for my elderly parents, this application is very timely. They were frequently in and out of the hospital and there were so many others there brought in alone and alone their whole stay. Unfortunately, this often resulted in either miscommunications or complete lack of information. The result of this being sub-par care. So much additional potential for this application as well! Ill be sure to recommend it to all my friends and business associates as well! Thanks Joey -

Thanks Joe for introducing me to this app. The information that this app provides can be the difference between life and death. One suggestion for possible improvement is to have the app be active on the lock screen. A small little icon that can be pressed to display the necessary information. This would require less work for the user to set up and it would be more private than saving the information as a screenshot set as the back ground.

Easy to use, but made a mistake inputting medical data. Unable to delete or make changes. Be credulity with your input!

Everyone needs this app in case of an emergency. This information is very important to know.

It really is a relief for me that all my medical information is in one place so if Im unable to convey what happened to me they have a one stop information and allergies. I definitely think this is a wonderful app.

Functionality good but cannot trust an app with no terms of use, no privacy policy and a web page site that is lacking. You are supposed to put highly sensitive medical info into this? Seller is listed as a charity, but web site is clearly marked as a subsidiary of a holding company whose site consists only of placeholder text.

Great App for emergencies entire medical history plus meds doctors phone numbers everything the EMS needs

It very good app but it is missing several essential elements that could make it great. The name of the App is "In Case of Emergency". A Section for Passport would be useful. I would like to have the insurance tied to each vehicle and not one insurance option for all vehicles. My motorcycle insurance is different from my car insurance. Each vehicle should have a place to put the VIN. House insurance is information that would essential in an emergency.

Nice to have lots of medical data in one place.

LOVE this app!!! A few months ago I was in an accident that rendered me incapable of being able to provide my medical information to EMS upon their arrival. The ICE standard application provided the detrimental medical/medication information needed. Im very happy with all this app offers!!

And especially seniors who wish to remain independent and who always have their cell phones with them! Love it and a big thank you to the developers. Patricia Klum

I have a condition that causes a symptom called cataplexy which is not an emergency unless Im injured or not breathing. Its great to have this app to tell people not to call 911 if I appear unresponsive. But if 911 is called Im very happy to know my info is right here for them to obtain if I cant speak to them. Very nice to feel covered!

Both of my parents are nurses and so the worry of an accident or emergency happening has always been a big concern being they see it happen everyday. This app is a great way to be prepared in case of an emergency. It is easy to use and understand which is helpful as a user and as the responder. It is quick and simple to set up but effective when the information is needed. I like that it is all easy access yet safe so that all your personal information isnt given to protect you as the user.

This is a 5 star app but I needed to get your attention. The Lock Screen defaults to a green banner with "Low Risk" displayed. Add a medication & your up to the yellow banner "Medium Risk". Add an allergy & your Lock Screen gets the Red Banner with "High Risk" to proclaim to all who see your Lock Screen at any time. I added the "EmergencyID" app and adapted its 5 contact info lines to instead display medical info about me & made that my Lock Screen. I kept this ICE app so if I call 911, its info screen is displayed to dispatcher.

I like all my critical information in one place easily accessible by emergency personnel.

This a great app but it needs an update for iOS 10, please. On my lock screen the day and date block a viewer from reading my name and risk level.

At age 84, I find having this vital medical info essential and a comfort.
